What have you enjoyed most about your teaching experience in China?

"I  really enjoyed the actual teaching. The students seemed to appreciate the help I offered and they seemed to become more confident in speaking English. China is a good place to go to teach as the students dedicate themselves to the education and always want to learn more."

What did you do in your spare time?

"I spent some time with other teachers – visiting the city, eating out and just spending time getting to know each other."

How did you find the language, food and other cultural differences?

"It was difficult to get used to the new culture. I liked the food as it is a lot of vegetables, always fresh. Many different fruits are available from street vendors. The language: I found it very difficult, but eventually I learned some basic phrases to get by. "

Would you go back to teach in China again?

"I would like to go back because I enjoyed the actual teaching as I love teaching English and I had really nice students, but I would like to go to a big city like Shanghai next time. "
